The event ended up raising an impressive $1800, all going towards Charlie Teo foundation, a not-for-profit working towards a cure for brain cancer research.
Held at the Hanwood Sports Club, the two-hour-long Zumba-fest was attended by around 100 people who danced and had an “incredible” time.
The two-hour event had six guest Zumba instructors who lead the crowd through the energetic dance routines.
Glenda Bagatella from Boobs 4 Brains said it was a “fabulous afternoon.”
“There was such a great spirit,” Ms Bagatella said.
“We are really very lucky in Griffith to have such generous people, and we have such an incredible group of Zumba instructors who give their time. It was a wonderful atmosphere.”
The Boobs 4 Brains group is made up of 20 breast cancer survivors and a friend who is battling brain cancer, who have banded together to raise money for brain cancer.
