Kaden Olivero
Kaden is 14 years old and will be playing Uncle Fester who is a comic relief to all the drama in Marian Catholic College’s musical The Addams Family.
What is the favourite part of your character?
I love Festers eccentric nature, in particular way his character directly talks to the audience.
Not to mention he does a lot of crazy things, but I can’t say more about these things without spoiling the show.
What do you find the most challenging about your character?
Uncle Fester is character is crazy and sometimes it is hard to keep up the energy his character requires.
What previous experience do you have?
I have participated in several of my grandmothers singing concerts for the Sutton Singing Studio.
I have had minor acting roles in primary school which has prepared me for the commitment of being in a full musical.
Where do you take your inspiration from?
I was inspired to audition for the show for multiple reasons, but mostly because I am a huge fan of The Addams Family series.
I was expecting to be cast as a member of theensemble but I was given the role of Fester and I am so grateful for this opportunity and wish to honour the role.
Who are your favourite actors / actresses?
Some of my favourite actors include Mike Myers, James Avery, Will Ferrell and Christopher Lloyd (Who played Fester in the movies)
Harry Laurent
Harry is 14 years-old and will be playing the Mal Beineke a stubborn father from a normal family in Ohio.
What do you find the most challenging about your character?
The most difficult part of my character Mal is the accent.
He has an Ohio accent and I find my voice constantly changes between Aussie and American accent so I have to really concentrate to get it right.
What previous experience do you have?
I have been in two other musicals Marian's 2016 production of Grease and the 2017 Community Production of Wicked.
Who are your favourite actors / actresses?
I take inspiration from my favourite actors who are The Rock and Kevin Hart because they can make any scene funny!
Shows kick off on June 27, tickets are on sale at Griffith Regional Theatre.
