At around 3.50pm on Tuesday emergency services were called to the property, and found the 54-year-old man uninjured but unable to get out of the tractor, as live wires were over the vehicle.
The power was isolated and the tractor was able to be moved.
The power pole was replaced and everyone returned home safely.
Truckies help woman
In another lucky escape, a woman in her twenties flipped her ute on Monday in Rankins Springs.
Emergency services were called at around 7pm to the Mid Western Highway, 5km north of the John Oxley rest area.
It appears the ute swerved over the road before it rolled several times, landing on it’s roof.
The woman was assisted out of the vehicle by passing trucks.
She received minor injuries, presenting with a sore chest and ribs with spinal precautions, and was transported to Griffith Base Hospital in a stable condition.
