This week, the talented Bonnie Browne and Sarah Quarisa are in the spot light.
Bonnie Browne, 15 years old is playing Morticia Addams.
What is the favourite part of your character? Morticia is a very strong and powerful female character and I love being able to portray her.
What do you find the most challenging part of character? The accent, it has changed a couple of times and I'm not the best with accents to begin with so it's been difficult.
What previous experience do you have? I was in WICKED and Beauty and the Beast, acted in three different GRAPA plays including Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, as well as singing regularly at competitions and other places.
Where do you take your inspiration from? Many strong female women have influenced me and my acting including Kate Blanchett, Margo Robbie and Meryl Streep.
Who are your favourite actors/actresses? I'm a fan of Margo Robbie and Zendaya as well Broadway actresses Kristen Chenworth and Idina Menzel.
Sarah Quarisa, 15 years old is playing Grandma Addams.
What is the favourite part of your character? My character is super care free and a little loopy, and definitely the very heart and soul of the family.
What do you find the most challenging part of character? Squatting is definitely a challenge with playing Grandma but I’ll have amazing legs after the show.
What previous experience do you have? I was in the schools previous production Grease which was also a great experience.
Where do you take your inspiration from? I’d say my inspirations are my teachers, family and my friends as they’ve all played a part in making me who I am today and supporting me as I play Grandma.
Who are your favourite actors/actresses? My favourite actress and actor are definitely Jeniffer Lawrence and Chris Hemsworth. They’re always up for a good laugh and they’re amazing at their jobs.
