He has been acting Director for Sustainable Development since last November.
“I grew up in Sydney, but have been in Queensland for the last 15 years doing a range of local government roles,” Mr Harding said.
“I’m loving my time so far. I love the vibrancy of Griffith. I like the opportunity that’s here, because we’re quite a unique city in respect to the fact that there’s a lot of economic development going on here.”
Ms Donaldson says her appointment is an extension of her previous role as Manager of Executive Services. She is also looking forward to better promoting Griffith in her new role.
“I’m excited about the step up within the role,” she said.
“I’m very passionate about council. The majority of my career has been at council in different departments at council.”
Mr Harding and Ms Donaldson will begin in their new roles from July 1.
