The winners of the Business Awards will be announced at the event at the Exies Bagtown Function Centre on Saturday May 26, in conjunction with Griffith City Council as a major sponsor of the awards.
The awards night has seen an “overwhelming” response from the Griffith business community, with the event sold out and over 240 people attending.
Awards Co-coordinator Amanda Quarisa said it was great to see so many people wanting to attend the night and recognise outstanding businesses in Griffith.
“A night to celebrate excellence in business,” Ms Quarisa said.
“The awards night is also an opportunity to provide credible recognition for outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses within their industry.”
Organisers have been “blown away” by the response the community has had in nominating worthy business for The Area News Local Customer Service Award, and are equally pleased with the businesses handing in submissions for the NSW Business Chamber Awards categories.
