The YFC side has a couple of key players who are set to miss this weekend’s game according to coach Rocky Marando.
“Few boys pulled up sore from our last game, and we haven’t had a training run yet this week,” he said.
“Tony Agresta picked up a knock, and Ross Marando will be out with a hamstring strain after coming back last weekend.
“A couple of boys are in doubt so we will have to wait and see.”
After the first third of the season, Marando is content with where his side is sitting after the first five rounds of the season.
“We have come back to earth with results in recent weeks after the start we had,” he said.
“We are about where we expected to be at the start of the season.
“We just need to put in a full 90-minute performance. We have only put together one full performance so far this season, and we need to get that right.
“We have to tighten up our defence because we have conceded a few goals in recent weeks.”
Their opponents for this weekend, Yoogali FC Two have had a tough season but with a younger side will only improve with more games under their belt.
The YFC Two side are yet to pick up a win this season and have only scored two goals in their first five games this season while they have conceded 37.
In the two sides meeting earlier in the season, it was Yoogali FC One were able to come away with a 7-0 win thanks to hat-tricks from Michael Perre and George Pavese while Joseph Poli also found his way onto the score sheet.
The game between the interclub rivals will get underway at around 1pm out at Hanwood Oval on Sunday.
