Agronomy company Terra Ag had previously taken Griffith City Council to court in a bid to reverse the decision to refuse a development application to build a rural supplies business.
The supplies business was initially set to be built next to a Sikh Temple off the Kidman Way.
Griffith’s Sikh community argued it was inappropriate for the development to be located next their most sacred place.
Council initially voted down the development application, and were successful in an initial court ruling.
However, Terra Ag successfully appealed the decision by the Land and Environment court, putting the case back on the table.
A Land and Environment Court Commissioner ruled last week that a May 11 conciliation conference between the two parties had reached a successful resolution.
Acting director sustainable development Phil Harding confirmed the two parties had come to a resolution and entered into a planning agreement.

The community will also have its chance to formally give an opinion on the matter before it is put into place.
“Council will place the planning agreement on public notification for 28 days after which time Council will consider any submissions lodged,” Mr Harding said.
When council and Terra Ag met in February, a solution was proposed that would see the business move its site to the corner of Kidman Way and Thorne road, across the road from the Temple.
Terra Ag had promised council it would withdraw its current development application next to the Sikh temple, in exchange for another one being approved.
A spokesperson for council could not confirm whether this solution had formed part of the planning agreement that will go on display.
“A report is being prepared with the recommendations for the planning agreement which will be placed on public exhibition,” they said.
