It has been a cause for concern and contention for many living in Griffith.
A spokesperson from the NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) contacted The Area News regarding the issue to give an update on the goings-on for the Preferred Options Report which was originally to be released in February.
“Roads and Maritime Services is continuing to carry out an environmental assessment and developing a concept design for the Yoogali intersection upgrade," the spokesperson said.
“The Preferred Options Report is expected to be released in coming weeks.

“Roads and Maritime’s intersection upgrade at Yoogali will serve as the eastern link to Griffith City Council’s southern industrial link road, connecting State roads to the north, south and west of Griffith.
“The southern industrial link road is a Council project. Griffith City Council should be contacted for questions about the southern industrial link.”
The Area News also spoke with Member for Murray Austin Evans who conveyed that the main two options from the RMS for the Yoogali intersection would likely be “either a roundabout or traffic lights.”
Mr Evans is not currently aware of any other options for the notorious intersection.
