The defending champions have endured a tough start to the season having lost their first two games of the season before picking up a win against Leeton after taking the lead in the final five minutes.
It was another tough task last weekend when the Panthers made their trip north to take on Tullibigeal Lake Cargelligo.
The Griffith side fell despite taking the lead into the break the Sharks proved to be too clinical in the second half to come away with an eight-point win. Meanwhile, the tough run of games for the Hay Magpies has continued as the losing streak which stretches back to last season continued after a tough defeat at the hands of Waratahs.
The Magpies are the only side yet to pick up points yet this season and have conceded 280 points while only scoring 50 in the opening four rounds of the season.
The real highlight of this weekend will be the league tag sides who will face off at around 12.40pm with both sides starting the season undefeated. In the league tag competition, Hay has set the benchmark so far this season having scored 220 points while have only conceded a singular try in their first four matches.
The first-grade game will get underway at around 3pm at Hay Sportsground.
