This weekend you’ll get to relive the good ol’ days with Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Rated PG) and The Breakfast Club (Rated M).
Elizabeth Portolesi and Matilda Conlan, both Event Coordinators and members of the Griffith Youth Committee want the youth of Griffith to come out and enjoy the flicks.
“This is our very first event for the year and we are pretty excited about it,” Ms Portolesi said.
“We are hoping to see lots of young people come along and enjoy something a little bit different for Griffith.”
Tanya Aramini, Griffith City Council Community Development Officer, spoke highly of the Griffith Youth Committee for organising the event.
“From Council’s perspective, this group is invaluable as they are able to give us feedback on youth-related concerns and other matters relating to Council’s functions and activities,” Ms Aramini said.
“We are really happy to be able to support them.”
