Nobody knows that better than Olga Forner, Griffith’s CanAssist president, who has helped hundreds of families and has seen the numbers increase this year.
“I just wish those who donated got to see the looks of relief cross the faces of those struggling with cancer. This difference it makes is unbelievable,” Ms Forner said.
Generous donations keep CanAssist supporting those in need, and Griffith Caravan Club has joined the ranks of many donating much-needed funds.
Kay Cunningham handed over a cheque $1500 with Len Jameison and Carmel Jameison from Griffith’s Caravan Club.

The money was raised from a raffle at the State Caravan Rally, and the club was thrilled to see the money go to much-deserving charity.
“As host club we got to chose which organisation got the money, and it couldn’t have gone to a more worthy place,” Ms Cunningham said.
