The 10.30 event started at Yenda Diggers Club with the march leading through to the centre of town, around Yenda Place.
Yenda RSL Sub-branch secretary, Neville Caparao was pleased with the event, noting that the crowd has been growing over the years.
“Today has gone really well. We had about a hundred and thirty odd this morning for our dawn service.”
The service included a visit by guest speaker, Alan Hutchings, member of RSL Victoria.
Speaking with some of the locals like Yenda Diggers Club cook, Dennis Manera, there was much to learn about the quiet, little town.
“We are the oldest RSL in the state,” Mr Manera said with pride.
Alan Wakely was quick to jump in and show off the certificate that had been awarded to the town to celebrate their 100 year anniversary.
“There is a lot of history to this town,” Mr Wakely said.
