Slim Cavanaugh fired 80 off the stick to take out A Grade on 69 nett.
He fired 40 off the stick on each nine, nailing birdied on the 5th and 10th.
Runner-up Allan Andreazza (70 nett, 81 scratch) came home in three over par, 38 six pars.
Ngarau Noa and John Harrison battled for B Grade honours, both carding 70 nett. Noa won on a countback. He nailed a birdie on the 8th then shot 41 on the countback nine to Harrison's 46.
Narrandera visitor Chris Moore 71 nett won C Grade, going around in 99 strokes with five pars. He won on a countback over Don Hillam, also 71 nett. Hillam drained a birdie on the 11th on his way to 93 off the stick.
David Kidd and Max Turner won the pro pins. Par Three's 4th. John Brennick, 7th. Martin Sweeney, 11th. Graham Campbell, 16th. Robin Salvestro.
Vouchers went to 74 nett.
A good Sunday field of 42 players contested a single stableford.
Mitch Howard (38 points, 80 off the stick) won A Grade ahead of Bryan Trembath (37 points, shooting 75).
Dean Crack fired up, taking out B Grade on 42 points, one ahead of unlucky runner-up Bryan Salvestro (41 points).
Michael Mohr (38 points) was best in C Grade; Lucas Kidd (37 points) was runner-up.
Troy Holman won the 7th pin, Lucas Kidd 16th. Vouchers went to 33 points.
The annual general meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 1 at 8pm. Only five nominations for board positions have been posted.
The club needs members full support, so a strong roll up to the AGM is required.
Wednesday’s and Sunday’s events are both single stablefords, with a two-person ambrose on Saturday.
Player involved in the Caltex Match Play must complete their third round by Sunday, April 29.
The veterans played a three-grade single stableford last Thursday,
Joe Cudmore (36 points) won 0.18 on a countback over Tony McBride (36 points).
Bill Brown (35 points) won 19-24, Geoff Smith (33 points) was second on a countback over Graeme Trevett.
John Evans (36 points) won 25-36 from Don Catanzariti (33 points) on a countback over Doug McWilliam.
Keith Woodbridge won the 7th pin, John Gale 11th., Brian Savage 16th.
Vouchers went to 33 points.
Griffith average 31.54 hold a slender lead over Leeton 31.07 in the Cudmore-Williams Trophy.
Thursday’s event is a single stableford.
A two-grade single stableford was played last Wednesday.
Albert Donadel (39 points) won 0-18 ahead of Andrew Noad (38 points), draining birdies on the 5th, 8th and 9th to shoot par 36 out.
Dino Battocchio (39 points) won 19-36 Grade, with birdies on the 4th and 16th, over Lance Perry (34 points).
Vouchers went to 32 points.
