The Wagga man came to police attention when he overtook an unmarked police vehicle around 30km out of Narrandera at 5.45pm.
As he was clearly exceeding the speed limit, police activated warning lights and stopped the black Ford Falcon.
He was known to police for previous traffic offences, however attempted to provide false information about his identity.
He was arrested and conveyed to Narranda police station.
He was charged with exceeding the speed limit by over 30km, driving with one unrestrained passenger in the back of the car, providing false identity details, goods in custody with alleged stolen driver’s license and driving while disqualified – multiple offences.
The man had been declared as a habitual traffic offender, with offences dating back to 2006.
He will appear in Wagga Wagga Court on May 2.
