The Black and Whites have shown they will be one of the teams to beat after a convincing win over the Waratah Tigers at EW Moore Oval on Saturday afternoon.

They started the scoring in the fourth minute when Bianca Sutton stepped through the Waratahs defensive line.
From there the Black and Whites didn’t let up as they scored another five tries before the halftime break.
After the ball was spread out wide Lily-Belle Misiloi was able to score her first try of the day just minutes after the first try was scored.
This pattern continued with Janai Booth running the length of the field to score after pouncing on a last tackle kick from the Waratahs to be up 14-0 after 15 minutes.
Two minutes later the lead was extended before Misiloi scored her second of the day to make it three tries in five minutes to all but secure the game before halftime.
One last try before the break this time to Jadha Anderson crossing just before the break to see the Panthers go into the interval holding a six-try lead.
Misiloi completed her hattrick while a second-half double to Valasi Asomua as well as a second to Anderson saw the Black and Whites walk away with a convincing win. Nancy Tale scored a consolation try for the Waratahs as the Panthers to a 54-4 win.
Big scores were common throughout the opening round league tag competition. The Hay Magpies made the long trip to take on West Wyalong and came home with a convincing shutout win.
A first-half double to Luci Lugsdin as well as a try to Delilah Crighton saw the Magpies go into the main break with an 18-0 lead.
Megan Pearson scored two second-half tries while Crighton completed her double for the weekend and Felicity Schiller while the kicking of Pearson was flawless as she kicked seven conversions from seven attempts to see the Hay side walk away with a 42-0 victory.
Yanco were also able to make a convincing start to their season when they made the trip to Coleambally to take on the DPC Roosters. The Hawks held a convincing 26-0 lead at halftime and didn’t take their foot off the gas as they came away with a 50-0 win to start their season.
Round two will be headlined by the match between Yenda and Yanco-Wamoon on Sunday afternoon at Yanco Sportsground.
