The under 18s sides left it late to maintain their undefeated start to the season.
After Alex Dorata missed a chance from the spot, Daniel Rogato scored to see the Rhinos take the lead before United hit back mid-way through the second half.
As the game looked destined to finish in a 1-1 draw Isaac Donadel popped up to knock home a late goal for a 2-1 win.
The under 20s were unable to replicate the performance which saw them pick up their first win in the NPL.
They were under pressure from the start of the game, and the visiting Gungahlin team were able to make the most of it scoring two first-half goals.
It didn’t improve much from the Rhinos perspective in the second as United were able to score three second-half goals for a 5-0 win.
