The sides took home a trophy each as they prepare for the first round match-ups in the Group 20 competition starting this weekend.
In the under 18s, Yanco came out of the gates strong with Kody Collins scoring two first-half tries and with two successful conversions from Brayden Ingram saw Yanco take a 12-0 lead into halftime.
Second half tries to Kurt Bloomfield, and Will Barnes saw the Hawks reach a match-winning lead of 20 points before Yenda’s Joe Rovere charge across from close range to score a consolation try as Yanco came away 20-6 winners.
Yenda were able to get their revenge quickly when the sides met in the League Tag decider.
The Blueheelers hit the scoreboard first after Maddie Payne crossed in the corner before Yanco score two quick tries as Tess Staines made an impact on the scoreboard and gave her side the lead after a 60m run resulted in her scoring under the post. Payne scored her second of the game to reduce the gap to four points going into halftime.
Yenda drew level with Payne completing her hat-trick to draw the sides level and it looked like the game would go into extra time before an offside presented with the kick from in front.
Eliza Baddock made no mistake from 10 metres out to give her side a 14-12 match winning lead with just 30 seconds remaining.
