Hundreds congregated at the top of Scenic Hill in glorious conditions, taking in all Griffith’s rustic nostalgia of its pioneering roots.
The Easter tradition seems to be resonating with Griffith locals more than ever, according to many of the punters.
But visitors from outside the region also made up some of the numbers coming through the gates.
Liana Allison was visiting from near Bundaberg in Queensland, and she said she recognised much of the old machinery from her time growing up in outback NSW and South Australia.
“It’s a fantastic event, and Griffith is lucky to have such a good location to host it,” Ms Allison said.
