The community has been declared “RV friendly” by the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia (CMCA).
It follows the installation of a new septic dump point at the Barellan Hall and Barellan
Showground, which was the final criteria Council had to meet for Barellan to become an RV Friendly Town under the CMCA’s initiative.
Narrandera Shire Council’s general manager George Cowan said the declaration would help to boost tourism in Barellan.
“It will enable Barellan to be promoted through CMCA’s channels and allow ‘RV Friendly Town’ signage to be installed in the town,” he said.
