Western Riverina Arts (WRA) will be hosting a “Mini Music Festival’ on March 24: a low-key, relaxed event featuring live music in the studio gardens.
WRA Executive Officer Derek Motion says the event is the perfect opportunity for Griffith performers to showcase their work.
“The aim is to give local musicians the chance to present their work and to give local residents the opportunity to experience the talent that is in our region.”
With free entry, people of all ages are welcome to attend the festival. People are welcome to bring along chairs, picnic rugs and eskies.
Local artist Hape Kiddle is hosting the event and will also have Bidgee Studio open for artwork viewing, with Kristie from The Flowering Zucchini providing refreshments.

“We’re partnering with Hape and Kristie for this event as we’re aiming to boost exposure for local performers, but also artists, practitioners and creative businesses,” Mr Motion said.
“This will be a great opportunity to experience some live music by local artists and relax in a beautiful outdoor setting.”
Griffith musicians are still able to perform their original work at the event, so contact Derek on 0428 882 059 to express interest.
‘Mini Music Fest’ will be on between 2pm and 7pm on Saturday March 24 at Bidgee Studio, corner of Bridge Street and Mackay Ave in Griffith.
