A woman has suffered minor injuries after being hit by a waiting vehicle at a pedestrian crossing on Banna Avenue outside of the Post Office on Wednesday morning.

A vehicle was waiting for the woman to cross the road at around 9.00am, however it is alleged the sun was in his eyes, and he couldn’t see her, so he started to drive forward.
The woman had not finished walking across, and was hit at a slow speed receiving minor injuries.
Police and ambulance were at the scene and spoke to surrounding witnesses.
Griffith police are continuing investigations.
