The Awards have already garnered a lot of interest in the Griffith business community, with many representatives attending the Griffith Regional Theatre on Wednesday at the official launch ceremony.
Griffith Business Chamber Vice President Josh Nadzielski was excited for the opportunity to celebrate the success and excellence of Griffith businesses.
“It is worth both yours and you team’s time to nominate and make submissions,” Mr Nadzielski said.
The Awards provide recognition for outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses within in their field, and the perfect chance to acknowledge, encourage and motivate the business community while gaining valuable and well-deserved exposure.
“What you will get from the time it takes to apply for the awards, is the opportunity to review your business goals, vision, strategy and operations, which can build your profile, PR, business reputation, a sense of pride, as well as lifting staff morale.”
Awards
There are eight awards categories for the NSW Business Chamber, as well as two local awards including the Local Customer Service Award and Local Business Person Of the Year.
A number of prizes are also available, with each winner of a NSW Business Chamber Category receiving a total of $1500 worth of advertising and a trophy, plus $500 from Hit 99.7/Triple M, $500 from WIN TV, $500 from Area News.
Griffith City Council is the official sponsor of this event, and Mayor John Dal Broi is excited to support and acknowledge the businesses for the good Griffith.
“Griffith is really progressing ahead, to the envy of other Local Government Areas around us, and we are doing exceptionally well,” Cr Dal Broi said.
NSW Business Chamber Regional Manager for Murray-Riverina Andrew Cotrill says it’s great to start the awards in Griffith again.
“Griffith has been away from the program for a few years, and I really think this an excellent opportunity for local businesses to engage with the awards program and to come out with some strong recognition for powerful businesses,” Mr Cottrill said.
