Teei Piawi (53), Teau Wotai (49) and Reed Bunyan (24) helped Hanwood set a competitive total of 181 while Diggers’ Leon Vico (4/24) limited the damage with four wickets late in the innings.
Vico (28) back up his performance with the ball when he came out to open while the middle order of Rocky Perre (27), Jack Favell (21) and Glen Faganello (26) gave their side a chance.
Unfortunately for Diggers, no other batsmen were able to get starts as Hanwood came away with a 22-run win.
Their nearest challengers, Leagues proved to be no match for Coro at Collina.
Brett Crooks (44), Ben Taylor (32*) and Damien Walker (35*) were able to hang around at the crease as they finished on 3/132 off 40 overs.
Leagues were never in the fight as Connor Edenden (10) was the only batsmen to get into double digits as the Panthers were bowled out 100 runs short of victory with Walker(4/12) doing most of the damage.
