Isaac Cumming, Jake Stein, Dylan Buckley and Jack Buckley made the trip down from Sydney to come out to Griffith and head to the schools around the area to talk about being a professional footballer.
Dylan Buckley said the community had welcomed them with open arms.
“It's been fantastic, people have been very welcoming,” he said.
“Food has been great, and the people have been outstanding, so it's been really good.”
Along with making the trips to the schools around Griffith and the surrounding area the Giants players also headed to the Auskick sign-up and opening round of the MIA Youth Girls competition at Exies Oval on Wednesday night.
Young defender Isaac Cummings said he finds trips like this a great experience.
“Personally I love it, and I reckon I can speak on behalf of the boys,” he said.
“Getting around communities such as Griffith and Narrandera and the likes it is really rewarding.
“To see so many young kids either playing footy or about to play footy and its no effort for us to get out here and have a bit of a laugh with the kids.”
Cummings also said it was great to see the kids getting engaged in the discussion.
“They (the kids) have been unreal,” he said.
“The kids are what makes it enjoyable so all the schools have been up and about and the kids listened really well and got involved which makes things a lot easier.”
