Lyon’s batsmen did a good job in compiling a match winning score of 2/84 against Clarke who also batted well to reach 4/94. The major run scorers for Lyon were Nate Sergi who made 22 and Jordan Williams who added 16 runs. Jaiden Morrell and Javier Bruce picked up a wicket each for Clarke. Jaiden also got busy with the bat knocking up Clarke’s top score of 28. Bhavya Chaudhari also made a valuable 20 runs. Nate Sergi capped a good day by snaring two wickets for Lyon.

Smith’s big guns helped their team to a score of 5/108 against Warner. Christian DallEst was again the main contributor with 39 runs. Charlie Serafin chipped in with 24 and Jonah Serafin added 16. Ted Files, Mackenzie Hasson, Jai Kenny, Matthew Gilbert and Nate Mingay all took a wicket for Warner.
Warner made 7/87 in reply. They relied heavily on Jai Kenny who made 22 and Matthew Gilbert who made 14. Smith’s most successful bowlers were Marshall Milne and Jonah Serafin who took two wickets each.
Watson made a handy score of 7/90 (ave 12.9) which proved to be beyond Johnson who struggled to make 14/51 (ave 3.6). Daniel Mitchell topped the run scoring for Watson with 19 runs and gained good support from Reif Leach who made 18. Yash Rathi was on target with the ball, picking up three wickets.
Harry Marcus made a defiant 13 for Johnson and Jim Prendergast made nine. Daniel Mitchell made it a double by bagging five wickets for Watson, Connor Dawson also bowled well to take three wickets and James McCloskey claimed two wickets.
Cricketer of the week is Daniel Mitchell for his starring role in Watson’s win over Johnson.

SENIOR BINKS/TUCKER
Maxwell’s batsmen played patiently to score 63 runs for the loss of only four wickets. Seamus Malley scored 13, Matt Devery 12 and Nick McGibbon 11 in Maxwell’s innings. Bede Kenny was Starc’s most successful bowler, picking up 3/11. Starc made 92 runs but lost 12 wickets in the process. Cooper Rand again stood out with an innings of 24. Bede Kenny also made a useful contribution of 18 and Noah Kirkman 16. Matt Devery was in devastating form capturing 4/7 in two overs for Maxwell. Seamus Malley took 3/11, Nick McGibbon 2/17 and Noah Puntoriero 2/18.
A close tussle played out between Marsh and Faulkner. Marsh prevailed when their score of 5/84 (ave 16.8) was a little better than Faulkners’ 8/99 (ave 12.3). Sean Garcia led the run making for Marsh with an innings of 20. Alex Minato helped the score along with 11 runs. Rylan Mecham took 2/9 and James DalBroi 2/14 for Faulkner. Rylan again set the tone for Faulkner’s innings knocking up 27 runs in his time at the crease. Blake Flanagan and Will Vaessen both made 15 runs in support. Meli Ranitu did most of the damage for Marsh, capturing 5/18 in a match winning performance.
No scores were available for the Healy/Finch and Siddle/Wade games.
