Wayne Alpen, 40 points, won A Grade with a brilliant final four front nine holes, canning birdies on the 6th, 8th, 9th, and par on the 7th. Neil Mahaffey, 37 points, second, recovering from 16 points out to score 21 home, nailing a birdie on the 15th.
Cody Stokes, 39, won B Grade, draining birdies on the 12th and 17th, ahead of Peter Cunial, 38 points. He scored 20 points out and 18 home with eight pars.
David Flood, 35, won C Grade, 16 points out and 19 in with a four point par on the 12th, on a countback from Byron James, falling two shots short on the countback nine.
Pro Pins: Martin Sweeney and David Kidd. Par threes: 4th Wall Trembath, 7th Ian Smith, 11th David Kidd, 16th Wayne Alpen. Vouchers to 32 points.
A one grade single stableford on Sunday saw Todd Bennett, 41, the overall winner with Club Champ Matt Staines firing three under par 68 for runner-up on 39, Josh Stapleton also played well to shoot par 71 for 38.
Staines also won the 7th pin, T Bennett 16th. Vouchers sent to 32 points..
The quarter-finals of the Brady Painters Memorial Norm Saxvick Red Gum Plate were also completed on Sunday with close results in all matches.
A/L Kidd d W Salvestro/AMott one up; and will now play M Howard/D Minato in one semi after they beat L DeValentin/R Marando 18th.
G Cox/G Smith d G Oslington/C Green 3/2 to play G Gyles/A Arnold in the other semi, putting paid to P Piccoli/C Lanza on the 18th. The final to be completed this coming weekend.

THERE were enough players for three grades in last Thursday’s veterans’ single stableford.
John Bortolazzo, 39, with eight pars won 0-18 Grade from John Gale, 36.
John Brennick, 37, won 19-27 Grade on a countback over Doug McWilliam, 37.
Bob Painting, 31, won 28-36 Grade over Lindsay Martin, 28.
Joe Cudmore won the 7th pin, Dave Gandy 11th, and Keith Woodbridge 16th. Vouchers to 33 points.
The deadline, February 28, has passed to pay vets subs and until paid will be excluded from competitions.
Members subscriptions are also due with monthly payments available by contacting club manager, Wayne Moat.
The good news is that the Charity Pro Am sponsored by B&C Plumbing will be held on Friday, March 16 with a sponsors’ day on Thursday, March 15t
Today, tomorrow and Sunday’s events are all single stablefords.

Frank Zambon, 38, won 19-36 Grade, a four point par on the 4th, ahead of Ddino Battocchio, 37, a birdie on the 8th.
