The Echoes area reuniting to raise money for the Griffith Base Hospital, with the night also featuring other well-known musical talents.
Members Bill Calabria, Gary Signor, Colin Burns, Joe Casella, Tony Parker, Pat Catanzariti and Phil Jones are playing for the first time in over 50 years to support the hospital.
Organiser Gary Purcell said it was set to be a great evening of entertainment for a good cause.
“Come and relive your youth, or find out what you missed!” Mr Purcell said.
“The Yoogali Club has donated the use of their venue, all the musicians have donated their time, and all of the proceeds will go towards purchasing new equipment for the Griffith Base Hospital.”
Member of the band The Echoes Bill Calabria is excited for the “challenging” reunion performance.
“It will be a challenge!” Mr Calabria said.
“We haven’t played together for years, and when you get to our age it can be hard to remember all of the songs.”
“It will be great to catch up with old friends, and bring back those memories of days when we were younger. It won’t be like the synthensised music you hear today, it will be raw talent, live music, and lots of fun!”
Their repertoire will consist of music from The Flying Circus, The Beatles and other rock and roll songs from the 60’s and 70’s.
“It will be a mix of hard rock as well as easy swing-time beats,” Mr Purcell said.
Other musicians include Peter Smith from The Glentones, as well as the delightful sounds from Matt Purcell and Joe Sergi.
