Vintage Festival to get Griffith grooving over Easter

Griffith will be the place to be over Easter long weekend with the return of the Griffith Vintage Festival and the exciting addition of a new music festival, Rewind in the Vines.

An event so popular it sold out and had a waiting list of over 200 people last year, the Riverina Winemakers Association (RWA) have announced an increase in capacity for this year, with 2000 tickets on sale.

The event will see 14 winery members will be pouring their wines by the glass once again. Food providers from around the area will also be on site, giving festival-goers something to feast on.

Talented local artists bands will provide the crowd with great live music. Among others, the line up features Max Jones, Ivy and Elle’s, Jiakomo Thief and DJ Ciri.

A spokesperson for RWA said the event was back and planning on being bigger than ever.

“We are very happy to be able to see this event grow in its second year. It had been a very long time since this event format and location had been done in Griffith so we had some initial restrictions in 2017 but were happy to have executed a successful first year without incident,” they said.

“Our advice this year is don’t wait to get tickets as we feel even with the increase in capacity that this will once again prove to be a popular outing for Easter Saturday.”

Griffith City Council encouraged visitors and residents alike to come along and enjoy the festivities.

“The Griffith Easter Party experience will suit everyone: There are activities for toddlers and young families, Griffith Vintage Party for Millenials and a new music event for the young at heart.”
