Griffith Golf Club Ladies’ report

Numbers of members playing golf over the past two weeks have been quite small.

This is probably the result of the time of year and also the high temperatures that are being experienced across the region.

On Saturday, December 30 eight ladies played a stableford competition.

First place went to Elizabeth Graham who won with 35 points, after a countback.

Dorian Radue was the runner-up, also with 35 points.

There were four balls in the ball competition and the score that was required was 25 points.

Last Wednesday, 13 ladies once again played a stableford event.

In division one (0-22), Elizabeth Graham continued her good form to win with a total of 35 points.

Second place on the day went to Denise Turner with 31 points.

Division two (23-45) winner was Cherie Eade with 31 points.

Runner-up was Marie Centofanti with 29 points on a countback.

Balls went to 27 points in the ball competition.
