Getting shirtless for a good cause has certainly paid off once again.
President of Murrumbidgee Diabetes Association Joseph Amato was presented with a cheque from the Griffith Exies club following the successful ‘Ladies only Bingo Night’ fundraising event.
Joseph said the funds will bring a smile to families this Christmas as they receive assistance with the costs of equipment and resources for diabetes patients.
“It was an absolutely fantastic night!” Mr Amato said.
“Over $4000 dollars was raised, which will certainly go a long way to purchasing equipment and resources for diabetes patients and diabetes educators.”
He said it was wonderful to see all the ladies who showed up have a ball, all aided by the amazing topless waiters.
“A big thank you to the club and all the hard work that was put it. It’s very much appreciated.”
Griffith Exies Club held the Bingo night on Friday December 1, with a raffle and a range of prizes, spiced up with some topless Griffith men to raise money for the association.
