The Inner Wheel Club of Yenda recently donated a number of retail vouchers to Griffith Women's Refuge, now part of Linking Communities Network Limited. These will be gifted to needy clients to help make the Christmas season brighter for them and their children.
The ladies of this I W club raise funds throughout the year by holding various events. Money collected in this way is then distributed to local causes such as this, to national projects ....Cord Blood research is currently being supported.....and to IW district projects wherein an international charity is funded for a year. In 2017/18 we are involved in furthering the work of Fred Hollows in Nepal.
Next year we shall continue this community work, sharing friendship with others and in March celebrating the 60th anniversary of the club's chartering.
