In Riverina’s first game of the weekend against ACT Southern, he was not required to bat as Riverina reach a final total of 2/247 off 50 overs with Wagga’s Brayden Ambler hitting 122. When it Pascoe was required to bowl he finished with 0/32 off five overs as the ACT side took a five-wicket win.
In their second game of the weekend, they took on Central Coast who reach 162 off their 49 overs. Pascoe was economical only going for 13 off his five overs while picking up the wicket of Scott Burkinshaw (9).
It was a tough batting inning for Riverina with Wagga’s Jon Nicoll (60) while Pascoe was able to get three runs before he was trapped in front by Adam Taylor (2/13) as they were bowled out for 120 giving Central Coast a 42-run win.
In their final game on Sunday against Illawarra, Riverina was able to set a competitive total of 8/219 off their 50 overs. Pascoe (26) had his best innings of the weekend, and after a 69-run partnership with Nicoll, he was stumped by Michael Stephenson off the bowling of James Flemming (1-41).
They were able to defend the total with Pascoe picking up 1/25 off his seven overs as Riverina came away with a 16-run win.
