A popular Griffith-owned family business has been recognised as an Australia-wide leader in its brand at a recent award ceremony.
RapidClean Griffith, managed by Brendan Cappello, beat out all the capital city big guns to become the first ever back to back winner of member of the year. The company also won the Oates and Tailored Packaging dealer of the year and Tork Rising Star.
Mr Cappello said being loyal to the his community base is the key to success.
“My dad and mum, Robert and Maxine joined the franchise 19 years ago. I now run the cleaning side with mum”.

The family has maintained a strict rule in that time.
“No talking work at the dinner table”.
Mr Cappello hadn’t planned to take over the family business.
“I moved to Sydney after school to study. I wanted to become a stock broker. But I didn’t like having to sit behind a computer all day”.

Rapid Clean Griffith has been growing at a rate of 67 per cent per year, and the business continues to expand.
“We’ve recently opened a Wagga branch”.
It’s been a big quarter for Griffith businesses, with Flavourtech recognised at the 2017 Murray-Riverina Regional Business Awards, winning Regional Business of the Year, and an Excellence in Export award.
