Hanwood has made a tough start to the 2017/18 GDCA season as they search for their first win of the season when they take on Exies.
After last weekend’s washout against Leagues, Hanwood picked up their first points of the season and will have another challenge on their hands this weekend.
Exies are currently sitting second, one point behind Diggers, after a good start to the season which has seen them take down last year’s runner-up Coro in their last game.
They have been lead by stand out performances with both bat and ball from Jamie Winkler. Currently sitting on top of the batting statistics for the season with 138 runs at an average of 69 which includes a fifty against Diggers in the second round.
The all-rounder is also on top of the table in bowling statistics picking up seven wickets so far this season all of which came in one game when he finished with 7/20 against Coro.
