As part of the curtain raisers at McDonalds Park for the Samoa vs Country under 23s on Friday, a strong women’s 9s side has been named to represent the Riverina when they take on Western.
Coach Shailyn Williams is confident with the side has the ability to take out the game.
“The team that has been selected is quite a diverse one,” she said.
“There is a good mix of talent in defence and attack.
“It’s the first time that this has been held, so it will be a good test for the girls.”
