The Griffith based company was awarded the Regional Business of the Year, and also took awards for Excellence in Business, and Excellence in Export.
Flavourtech’s Financial Controller Paul Smith said it’s great to see the company get rewarded for their years of dedicated work.
“We are certainty excited to receive the awards, however we are most proud of being named Regional Business of the Year, to take a lot in one go was a massive surprise,” Mr Smith said.
Mr Smith says the awards give the company more credibility on a global stage, and has garnered respect from international businesses.
“We’ve sold to over 60 different countries, so the one thing it does do for us, is it gives a bit more credibility to our sales people as well, that we are not this little manufacturing place you’ve never heard of in Griffith - we are who we say we are.”
Last year was the third best year, and according to Mr Smith, this year in three months they have exceeded last year already, highlighting the business is “getting bigger and better.”
“We worked just as hard in the years where we didn’t awards as we have now, but it’s nice to be able to get some accolades and puts a spring back in peoples steps when the going gets tough.”
