POLICE have again appealed for residents to lock up their valuables after a number of vehicles were broken into.
A vehicle parked in Merrigal Street in Griffith was broken into on Monday night, as well as another in Harward Road.
“We urge people to lock up their vehicles and keep their valuables out of sight if they are leaving them in there,” Griffith Local Area Command Inspector Wayne McLachlan said.

A MAN has had a costly night out after he was issued with a number of infringement notices by Griffith police.
Just after midnight on Wednesday, police were called to a licensed premises.
Two males were asked to leave the scene, but police said one become aggressive following the order.
He was arrested and taken to Griffith police station where he was handed a number of fines.

A SMALL amount of property was stolen from a Griffith high school on Monday night when offenders broke into the facility.
A number of rooms were entered on Monday night and the thieves made away with some items, according to Inspector McLachlan.
