Griffith Rural Fire Service (RFS) were called to a bush fire near Willandra Avenue and Kookora Street this afternoon (Wednesday).
They were called out to the bush fire at 2.20pm where they found a small area of bush alight.
The fire was extinguished by 2.50pm.
A Griffith resident has also witnessed a fire being extinguished on Canal street around 3.00pm, with fire trucks in attendance controlling the small blaze.

Fires continue to plague Griffith Rural Fire Service (RFS), with call outs to Scenic Hill and Beelbangera occurring since Tuesday.
The Griffith RFS were called to a fire at Scenic Hill on Tuesday around 8.30pm.
The fire burnt around one hectare of land before being put out by two trucks and five firemen.
In less than 24 hours, they were called out again to a blaze in Beelbangera.
A larger burn this time, seeing roughly five hectares of land burnt.
A spokesperson from the RFS said at this stage the cause of the fires are unknown, but that these occurrences are concerning for this time of year.
