Michael Cirillo, a DJ with the stage name ‘Ciri’, will be one of many talented Griffith performers entertaining the crowds at My Jam.
After playing for clubs, pubs and parties in and around Griffith for the past three years, Mr Cirillo is excited to perform for the first time in a concert like My Jam.
“I’m super excited, I've never done anything like this before, so I’m also a little nervous, but it’s going to be a lot of fun,” he said.
His says he draws his musical inspirations from artists such as Australian producer and DJ from Melbourne Will Sparks.
For him, one of the most enjoyable things about being a DJ is “being in control of making people have a good time.”

“The music you play can really effect people and determine if they enjoy themselves or not.”
He says audience members can expect “good tunes and good times” from his performance and others at the concert.
Mr Cirillo says he will continue to pursue his career as a DJ in the next few years.
“I’d like to do this as a job full time and move to Melbourne when I finish my apprenticeship, and continue and see where it takes me.”
