PERFECT golfing conditions saw a large field of golfers play in Sunday's Men's Open Day.
The A grade scratch winner was Charles Manning with 73. In B Grade Renzo Surian took the honours with 84 and Geoff Vearing won B grade with 92.
The scratch runners-up were in A grade M Robertson with 82, B grade Gary Signor with 89 and Peter Morrison took out C grade with 97.
The nett winners were Col Leeson in A grade with 70 nett, B grade N Perkins with 69 nett and Chris Close in C grade with 72 nett.
The nett runners-up were Paul Piest with 71 nett, B Grade in a three way countback was Claude Martimbianco with 71 nett and Dolf Murwood won C grade with 75 nett.
The longest drive in A grade went to Peter Dissett, Paul Connell won B grade and there were no winners in C Grade.
Nearest the pins went to Alf Franchi A grade, Gary Signor B grade and Peter Morrison won the C grade.

Tuesday's veterans day winners were Ian Gordon with 40 points from Peter Morrison on 39 points. Nearest the pins were won by Peter Morrison and Laurie Corner and Geoff Vearing won the pro pin.
Next Sunday’s event is a stableford for the Guzzlers Mug and captains of the day are Doreen Wood and Glennis Forner.
