Access to the lockers is granted with a code supplied from the Kids Help Line, and will be available outside PCYC from September 1.
The lockers contain food and water, bedding, a jacket and hygiene products.
The lockers were funded by grants, however going forward, support from community businesses will be sought to keep the lockers filled with supplies.
Deb Longhurst from Youthlinks, said the lockers provide great assistance to people finding themselves in situations without food or a place to stay for the night.

“Even if people are passing through town and have found them stranded for some reason and they don’t want to go to a women's refuge, they can come here and access this and get through the nigh,” she said.
Senior Constable Davies explains the Kids Help Line and lockers are not just for kids, but anyone who finds themselves in need of the supplies.
"If your a mother with kids in a domestic violence situation, you can still ring the kids helpline to get the codes to the locker. It's not just aimed at youth,” he said.
“There is no way to abuse the system, as people have to ring the helpline and explain their situation before they can get the code to the lockers.”
