Griffith City Two will be looking to finish the season on a high but it will not be an easy task when they take on Griffith City One on Sunday.
Coach Ange Cirillo knows it will be a tough game this weekend.
“They have been going well in recent weeks and are starting to gell,” he said.
“They have peaked at the right time so it will be tough for us this weekend.”
It is an important game for City One who are lock in a battle for a spot in the top four.
They will need to defeat their fellow Griffith City side by at least two goals and hope Hanwood loss in their inter-club game.
In the meeting between the two sides City One came away with a 10-3 win.
The Griffith City Two are preparing to make a run in the consolation finals between the sides in the bottom four.
“We want to have a bit of a crack in the finals and hopefully a couple of the old boys can make an impression.”
The City Two side will come in the game hopeful they would have some players back in the fold.
“We should have almost everyone back or on the way back,” he said.
“Simon Bonetti should be back which will be a boost for us.
“It does look like we will be without Ross Panebianco.”
The game between the two sides will get underway at Noe Santolin Oval at 1pm on Sunday.
