Simon Kirkman, a member of WCMX, says the design caters to all different types of users.

“As a WCMX member, the new skate park design is a 100 per cent improvement over the old one” he said.
“I currently go to Canberra to wheelchair skate, because the current Griffith skate park is no good for WCMX.
“The new skate park is a big improvement over the old skate park, as it will cater for all shredding forms whether be BMX, skateboard, scooter and WCMX.”

“The existing skate park was cater for more advanced skateboarders, where the new skate park will cater for beginners and experience skaters.
“WCMX is a new form of skate done from a specially designed wheelchair to take on the ramps and bowls of a skate park … I can't wait till the new park is finally built so can practice locally.
“I am happy that Council are designing the new skate park for all users whether it be skateboard, bmx, and WCMX.”
