The first encounter between Yoogali FC sides has seen them come up with a perfect idea of how to get around the clash in kits.
Acting club president Joel Scarfo saw this weekend was ‘real men wear pink’ and decided it was a good cause to get behind.
“After doing some research I saw the money would be going out of town and I didn’t want that,” he said.
“So all money raised will be going to CanAssist, so it will stay in the community. “
Scarfo said the club would be running a gold coin donation and any money raised in the canteen will also be donated.
“Hopefully people will get behind us and how their support,” he said.
“I just wanted to create a positive image for the Griffith soccer community.”
As for the game itself, it will see two sides near the top of the table facing off.
A win for Yoogali FC One would see them close to within a point of the top teams while if the second side were able to get the win the sides would be level on points.
The game gets underway at Noe Santolin Oval at 3pm.
