Late night glassing results in arrest
A man has been left with facial injuries after an alleged glassing at a hotel on Banna Avenue on Wednesday night.
Police and paramedics were called to the hotel at 10 pm on Wednesday night after a man threw a schooner glass at another man, hitting him in the face.
The impact of the glass chipped the victim’s tooth and cut his lip, but did not break the schooner, which remained intact.
Police say the men were known to one another.
Griffith Police Acting Inspector Luke Cole said the man was arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and will appear in Griffith Local Court at a later date.
