Staggering tally raised by Griffith’s Biggest Morning Tea
Griffith’s infamous Biggest Morning Tea has officially raised a staggering $10,400 to help fight cancer.
The city’s infamous Biggest Morning Tea organiser Deanna Marriott said the official tally came in after the proceeds from deliveries to local businesses were counted.
“Our volunteers made hundreds of sandwiches from bread and scones donated by Bakers Delight and delivered them to 320 people in 30 Griffith businesses on the day before the Biggest Morning Tea,” she said.
“We are very satisfied with the result.”
