Round 8 started in the women’s division with Vic Hotel v Bulldogs Women. Bulldogs Sharon Croce scored 5 out of 6 goals for Bulldogs with Carlie Whittaker scoring the other goal. Karren Johnston was the only goal scorer for Vic Hotel making the game 6-1.
Griffith Retirement took on Exies Women in game 2. In a close game Griffith Retirement ended up on top with a 2-0 victory. Susan Cox scoring both goals for Griffith Retirement. Hannah Shrives was Exies stand out player.
The Men Division kicked off with Exies Men vs Bulldogs Men. Galahs men continued there good run of form beating Bulldogs 5-1, With Andrew Sinclair scoring with two while Jamie Piva, Jason Atkins and Blake Wiseman all chipped in with 1. Zac Ruediger scored Bulldogs only goal.
Easts Men take on Leeton. Fiona McKenzie was able to pick a goal for Easts. But in reply Simon Spiers and Jarrod Day both scored for Leeton. Leaving Leeton with a 2-1 victory.
