After coming together as part of the Midnight Basketball competition, the Midnight Marauders have transitioned well into the local C-grade competition.
After a slow start to the season where the team had to forfeit their first round game and then lost their second, they have gone undefeated for the rest of the season.
According to their parents, the team is enjoying the extra structure of playing in the competition and have really gelled since the start of the season.
Zeke Ingram said it was great to be able to use the skill they learnt at Midnight Basketball.
“We have grown from Midnight Basketball and we learnt most of our skills from Midnight Basketball, he said.
“It has really helped us get into the sport.”
As a team, they are pleased with how the season has gone.
“This is our first time playing in the competition,” he said.
“We are very happy with how the season is going and hopefully we can make it to the finals.”
