2MIA will now feature a program for vision impaired people in the Riverina.
“Talking Vision” is a half hour program developed by Vision Australia, broadcast every Thursday after the midday news. It will feature in the Morning Music Marathon, which runs from 9am to 1pm.
2MIA President Mr Murwood said, “there are not many ways people with a vision impairment can get news and information about the subject in the area”.
Hence, this program covers new information and stories about people who have a vision impairment.
The first program put to air featured an inspirational story about a 90-year-old lady who was going to the Master Games in Tasmania.
Vision Australia is a leading national provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia. They support more than 27,500 people of all ages, life stages, and circumstances.
